i just got an e-mail from Lush Uk in answer to a question about where the American cream soild perfume had gone and turns out it's been discontinued along with most of the old solid perfumes like olive branch and HIWTK

The stores had to take the solid perfumes off sale when they got the new gorilla perfumes. Neither of the stores near me have them any more but they do still have the temple balms which are apparently also being discontinued.

temple balms as well? now i am sad, i shall have to stock up on dreamtime, it's the only thing getting me to sleep these days

Yeah in mine they have not taken the temple balms off sale but apparently when they are gone they are gone. It's annoying they didn't go in the discon section on the website for warning.

That isn't true. My store received Tuca Tuca last week and we still have Vanillary and HIWTK solids left. We were never told to pull them. Unless this is just in the UK? Either way, many people were complaining about the cocoa butter base of the solid perfumes and each Gorilla Perfume is going to have a solid..it just looks like a big fat Chapstick, and no cocoa butter, so it will be closer to the true scent :)

lush usa has them on the website, some of them are listed as "limited edition" though. i guess if you really want you could order from there?

That doesn't sound mad at all, it sounds perfectly sane :) I'd be very cross if one of my favourite products vanished with no warning *cough*heavenly bodies*cough*

my friend said i could pick anything from the site for christmas. I picked Heavenly Bodies. He ordered me the giant chunk. I AM SO HAPPY I PICKED THAT. q.q

My store said they are keeping Olive Branch and one other solid (The Comforter, I think she said). I hope that's true because Olive Branch is my fav :(
