Hi, I'm totally new to this.. but I been hearing so much about LUSH products that I figured I'd try it out.  Today, I took a 2 hour trip to check out a LUSH store.  I have combination skin (it's like dehydrated/flaky yet very oily and clogged.. yuck) and acne with redness around my cheeks.  The lady there recommended Coal Face, Breath of Fresh Air ( Read more... )

You might want to tag your post / add the "tag needed" tag before a mod tells you to d:

Have you considered face masks? Love Lettuce is pretty good for combination skin.

there is no "minimum" that we can sell you...we can sell as much or as little as you want. This makes me sad :(

my local Lush were wonderful when i asked for some samples to help out my neighbours granddaughter who has bad acne, they gave me a full little tub of vanishing cream and huge chunk of coalface.
i know vanishing cream is expensive but Lush moisturisers do last a long time, so it won't be something you will have to buy in a regular basis.

have you thought about catastrophe cosmetic fresh face mask? it's great for reducing redness and spots and is very calming on the skin.

I really LOVE the green serum for my "spotty spots". Since for me most of my blemishes are caused either by stress or dryness, it's perfect. It also "dries down/rubs in" to make a nice finish for putting makeup on over.

So try the green one!

i have the EXACT same skin type as you do, i use two out of the three she mentioned; instead of Breathe of Fresh Air, I use the Tea Tree Toner Water. after using it for a year, it has made a HUGE difference! i wish i had before and after pics to show you lol.

also because we have random flakeyness, I use ocean salt scrub on my face 2x a week, but I really do have a lot of flakeyness going on. if you find that the flakeyness isn't a persistent issue, then i would disregard this; my sis has mild skin flakeyness, and after using ocean salt, it gave her little bumps all over her face.
