shelf life of solid shampoo

I bought Godiva shampoo two weeks ago because my New! was getting thin to breaking point. But it looks like I'll still have New! for quite a while before I need to break out Godiva. How long can Godiva last before it loses its awesome scent? It's in the bag FTM.

im pretty sure most stuff lasts 14 months minimum.

Put it in cling film, it will keep the scent longer.

Is the bag paper or plastic? The paper bags tend to draw out the scents.
