i don't know how well silky underwear would work, but if you want a powder then coconut is amazing. i live in arizona and while it didn't keep me 100% dry through the 110f weather, it still did an amazing job. it's very fine and silky, moreso than silky underwear, so it gives better coverage and sets in easier.
I'm kind of fuzzy on the application of the powder if you're not using a puff or some other sort of applicator. I'm concerned I'd end up with as much of it on the floor of my room as I would under my arms.
i've never tried applying it with a puff but i don't find either powder all that bad without one. for coconut i probably look a little silly leaning back to apply it to my underarms, but it's all good.
my boyfriend ran out of deo on a weekend trip so i let him borrow my soft touch. surprisingly, he smelled like delicious cake even when we got home from a sweaty party, as it's so strongly scented. you could give that a shot if you're set on a bar, it smells of vanilla and cardamom.

If you are going to use Silky Underwear, why not just use Coconut? I am obsessed with it.

(I know it's not rocket science, but I'm still imagining myself tipping the container and having it spill all over myself and my bedroom floor.)
