Totally new to Lush!

I am 100% new to Lush because really, I've only ever ventured inside a Lush store once because the smell of the store is extremely overpowering for my sensitive nose and gives me a major headache. After watching/reading so many rave reviews on Lush products, I feel like I have to try some! I plan to make a little list of a couple items beforehand ( Read more... )

I like the following: avobath bath bomb, mr butterball bath bomb, and the star melt. I have cocktailed the butterball and star melt with much success, love the combination. Also, i have found that if the bath bombs have extra particles, putting them in a mesh bag, or if you have them lying around, nylon knee high stockings, contains the particles yet allows the bomb to do what it is supposed to do. Enjoy!!!

What's the difference between Mr. Butterball and the regular butterball? Other then the fact that Mr. Butterball is shaped like a cute snowman and cheaper :P

The mesh bag/ nylon stockings is the smartest idea ever! Do they prevent any possible glitter from getting anywhere? :D

Regarding the glitter, some gets out, but it seems to me that most stays in the container.

I love the Dreamtime bathmelt and I think it would pair up nicely with the French Kiss bubble bar. Also the Waving Not Drowning bath bomb is a nice light relaxing fragrance as well.

I got the Dreamtime bathmelt! For some reason, I imagined the bathmelts to be bigger but there's probably so much lovely moisturization that a big bar would be moisture overkill.

Hi, and welcome to the community! Please remember to tag your posts to help others out in the future!

As for relaxation, Waving not Drowning or the Ickle Baby Baffs are soothing lavendar/cardamom scented, and contain no glitter or other jet-clogging material. They are excellent for a bedtime relaxing bath!

The Candy Cane bubble bar is nice and so is the So White bath bomb. They're both pretty mellow scents. Just be careful and don't put the entire bubble bar in the tub in one go. Crumble some and put it in.
