New use for Fig and Leaves

Hi folks! I'm very, very new to Lush, having tried it just for the first time a few days ago. I was visiting my fiancé in the UK and stopped at the store in Liverpool One because I'd heard so much about it, but never got a chance to visit the store here in Phoenix. I bought a bar of Soak and Float for my scalp psorasis. The results were amazing! It ( Read more... )

*local waves back* I'm in Ahwatukee (but actually go out to Goodyear/Buckeye at times because a friend decided she had to live in Buckeye), and it's even a hefty drive from here and why I haven't gone before my trip to Liverpool. Thankfully, I just got a freelance article assignment at the Scottsdale Fashion Square, so now I have an excuse to visit! I wish a LUSH would open in Chandler Fashion Square.

I third the suggestion of Figs and Leaves for shaving! :^D It's the richest, creamiest lather and the fig seeds are very exfoliating. Plus I love the scent! I use it and Snowcake for shaving all the time (I stock up on Snowcake every holiday season lol).

Now that I work for Lush, I'm always being told "No alternative uses!" when speaking to customers, so it's great to spend time in this LJ community. I use Silky Underwear (dusting powder with cocoa butter bits) as a deodorant and recently found it was delightful for shaving under my underarms.

Figs & Leaves smells divine but contains a little citrus which I'm allergic to. The sugar scrubs are great for when I shave my legs and jungle is another good bar for shaving (the hair conditioner that is). "Shave the Planet" was born after it turned out the Lush inventor Mark (or was it his son Simon?) was using Handy Gurugu on his face. I say all this because...I love alternative uses for Lush.

what! why are they telling you 'no alternative uses/'

our store promotes the idea of alternative uses- so someone can buy one product and use it for many things. that is such a STRANGE thing to tell a SA.

If a customer asks me directly, I'm allowed to say "I use FTFL everywhere, not just my feet" but I can't volunteer that info.

Wow! that's kind of silly... you'd think this way your promoting the goods to be used in more than one way, which you'd think would help in sales! especially for things like ocean salt. not too many people use it on their face as a cleanser, but as a body scrub with lemony flutter, yumm
