I LOVE Lush and am an addict-in-training. However, I don't like everything I've come across in Lush-land...in fact, there are some things I downright loathe!

So, please tell me what your great dislikes are in the Lush product line?

I have a few personal "hates"...one (perhaps two) for sure to be scandalous.

I actually can't stand the smell of American Cream. It's so overwhelming, and completely overpowers the scent of whatever shampoo I end up using. I really wish they would come out with a conditioner that was just unscented, since I like the smells of some of the shampoos far better.

Also, never particularly liked Snow Fairy. I have a bottle of it that's 99% full because I couldn't use it after trying it a couple of times.

As for the massage bars, the only ones I actually use are Glitterbug and Shimmy Shimmy, and those only for their glittery decorative properties for special occasions when I want to be SPARKLY!!!

If you don't want that Snow Fairy, you should totally send it to me. ;) I have an empty Snow Fairy bottle that I occasionally take out just to sniff the sad little remnants contained within. I miss it so much. :(

I think American Cream smells like cigarette ash personally. Weirds everyone out when I say that though.

LOL I got Go Green solid fragrance for my dad because of exactly that reason. It smells like our cottage so I figured he'd like it :)

I've only tried a limited number of lush products so far, and the only one that I can say I really don't like is the Reincarnate shampoo bar. It smells gross and my hair really didn't look or feel any nicer after using it.

I tend to dislike a lot of popular Lush fragrances because I'm not a fan of sugary-sweet scents. Honey I Washed the Kids, Rock Star, Porridge, Candy Fluff, and Ma Bar are examples of those types of scents for me. Porridge loses additional points because the oats from the sample I got through mail order clogged my tub drain horribly.

American Cream gets amazing reviews, but I just don't see the hype - my Hair Affair sample didn't do anything for my hair a $4.99 conditioner from CVS wouldn't, and the scent is just... vanilla.

Honestly, my favorite Lush products and scents seem to be ones that get mixed reviews - Lily Savon/Charity Pot, Bathos, Spice Curls, etc.

I can't stand ickeningly sweet girly scents (I call them "pink scents") like Rockstar, Creamy Candy, Candy Fluff, and Godmother. I gave my piece of Rockstar away.

Oh yeah...me too! I have a niece that loves to smell "pink"...so I've pawned a lot off onto here.
