Today I went to my first Lush party... well, I am a bit upset right now. There is something I want to know, is it necessary to print out the promo code coupon in order to get the promoted products. For example, FREEVAN, I thought that all I have to do is say the promo code in order to get the body lotion. The Lush workers told me

I was under the impression that the FREEVAN promotion was only valid online. I know the free sugar scrub promotion is good in-store, but I think the lotion is only through the website.

that makes a whole lot more sense now^^ lol. Gosh, I receive an email and I thought that I can use that promo code since it said it. How do you know when it is for online and when it is for stores?

LUSH online often has separate promos from in-shop. They probably wanted to see the printout because they had no idea what the heck it was!

That FREEVAN code is only for website orders, not for in-store.

FREEVAN is only online. Print out or not they wouldn't have been able to give you anything free. Sounds like it was just a big mix up and they didn't know what coupon code you were talking about. For most discount code they need the actual coupon for store records.
