Ah, the melting properties of Lush... (and a ? about the Blonde)

So, in a fit of supreme stupidity, I left one of the little bars of Running to the Embassy from my Night in for Toes kit out on the counter in my bathroom. The problem? It was right in front of the window and I guess the sun streaming in melted the darn thing so now I'm left with a stream of green on the tile surface that has gone completely ( Read more... )

I dunno if this would work for a body butter but it works for candles that have melted. And iron and wax paper. Heat the iron up put the wax paper over it and it picks it up from the surface. But like I said, I have never tried it in this situation.

Awesome. I was thinking of doing something like this but using my hair dryer instead of an iron just cuz of where the mess is (would be hard to get the iron in the right spot. Definitely worth a shot though, thanks!

I was thinking "hair dryer + paper towels"...'cause there isn't any way to salvage the accident, really.

Yeah... at least they give you two in the kit so it's not a total loss!

my hair is naturally brown but i used to lighten it to blonde. i tried the blonde and marilyn and decided that marilyn worked fabulously and the blonde just...didnt. i dont know how it would work for red or even blonde hair, but i found it to be difficult to manage, crumbly and didnt last long. it didnt lighten my hair at all, while marilyn did noticeably even in one use.

Hmmmm interesting. I almost got the Marilyn last time I was in Lush but I was already buying a wee bit too much so I decided against it (plus I still have some Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease left at home).

I agree that the Blonde is a bit soft. I cut a slice off of the huge hunk I bought and am hoping that the rest of it cures a bit while I work my way through this one. Definitely not a shampoo that can be left in the shower, that's for sure!

The Blonde did absolutely nothing to lighten my light brown hair.

Thanks-- I actually bought some last week and have been using it since. I really like what it does for my hair softness/shine-wise I was just curious about the colour effect for non-blondes long term.

I didn't find that the Blonde did anything to lighten my brown hair. However, I have to note that oddly enough, it's one of my favorite Lush shampoos. My hair loves it! I got really nice shine with it, which doesn't happen much with frizzy hair like mine. Do keep it out of the shower, though.

Yeah i have noticed the shine factor so far, and it's made my hair super soft. This is the 4th lush solid shampoo I've tried (I've liked all the others, esp. Karma Komba and Reincarnate but I do like to try new things) and I am really surprised how well my hair has responded to it thus far.
