I use ultralight in the am and celestial in the pm. Like you, I am dry but combo in the summertime. Also I have kept my celestial and ultralight for over a year now and both are fine.

your pot of celestial should have an expiration date sticker on it.

Once it's past it's exp date but not used up try it as a hand/body cream. It should be fine for a week or two after the use by date, just not on your face.

My celestial lasted me for a long long time. It has been too warm and separated and when that happened I just gave it a good shake to mix it up. I'm sure it would be ok to store in the fridge too

FYI, if your skin is usually dry/sensitive, you almost certainly don't need to wash it twice a day (very few people do). Skip the cleanser in the morning, and just use it at night, and I bet it will be happier.

Do you think I should tone in the morning then still? Like after just splashing water on my face and before putting on my moisturizer?

If you want to--Eau Roma doesn't really do that much, imo, so I honestly don't think it will matter much either way, but it's just more of a nice product to use if you like it. Also, part of the point of toner is to get your face damp before moisturizer.

iawtc. my face was a lot happier when i stopped washing more than once a day. toning with a light toner (Eau Roma) or just splashing with water has always worked better in the AM for me.
