I was told by two different people at the lush in Emeryville that no shampoo bars were being discontinued.

It was helpful. Obviously the Emeryville store employees weren't completely informed of the status of the shampoo bars and I'd believe the NA website over a sales associate. Thus "it's been discontinued" is as helpful as anything. Perhaps it was more brief than you wanted, but it doesn't change the fact that it has been discontinued.

Also, the fact that Hybrid was listed on the UK's cut list, there shouldn't have been a surprise that it was going to be discontinued in the US.

It must be a late addition to the NA cut list, then, because Miss V posted the official NA cut list to the forum on the 8th, and then someone from TX said they saw it on the discon list at their local store.

The stores have received no such info and seeing as how we are going to have the hair kits with mini hybrids, this doesn't make sense.

It could have been a late addition to the cut list, but I definitely didn't see any info come through my shop about it. I'll look into it on Monday and get back to you if I hear anything definite!

That would be amazing, thank you! I went to the Emeryville store again on Friday and the manager is still saying that they havent been told anything and that it may have something to do with Lush changing companies of the needles(?) that are used? so it maybe that they are getting rid of the last of the older formulas.

Idk.. just know if Hybrid gets discontinued for good Ill be extreamly upset :(

Hi again!

Okay! So I consulted the Oracle (our shop support department.... we call them The Oracle at our store because they know everything) and they don't have anything that says the Hybrid is part of the discon list. However! Their best guess is that it's on the "Fond Farewells" section because that particular batch is made with the older Coco Sulphate, and they're trying to sell through it before putting up the newer SLS version. They're going to get back to me if they hear anything different, and I will let you know if that happens!
