I've used most of the other body butters other than King of Skin.
I always make sure my skin is wet, rub the bar in small circles, then rub it in a bit more with my hands. Leave it on for a minute then rinse it off. :/

Thank you for this. It seems to be the common advice. I'm going to try it. :)

I use it just after shower, when I'm still in the shower, before I get out. my skin is still wet but the water has been turned off.

Ah, good idea. I hadn't thought of that. No rinsing, good. :)

I use it after I'm wet, moving the bar over my body - once its wet it glides on smoothly :)

I usually rinse under the warm water to help it melt into my skin, and to remove any excess.

My skin LOVES King of Skin, it's one of my products I can't live without.

I think that's what I'm doing now but, like I said, with little effect. Perhaps I should rub more. I like the suggestion above about rubbing it into wet skin after the water is turned off.

I've never used King of Skin, but I've used Buffy and I apply it while my skin is still wet, right after I've gotten out of the shower or bath. I glide it over my body (sort of like I do with a massage bar when my skin is dry), and then rub the oils and whatnot into my skin.

Yes, I like this suggestion. It was also made above. I'm going to try it when I go for a shower now.

with King of Skin, you apply it while your skin is wet, then rinse, then pat dry. basically like a posh ultra moisturising soap :)

So you do rinse? Um, a few people above said that you shouldn't bother rinsing. I am rinsing at the moment and that's why I think it seems to be doing very little.

it is designed to be rinsed. a lot of people do use it as a massage bar (ie on dry skin, no rinse) but i find that too sticky-oily.

is the bar melting onto your skin? rub and massage it all over.

The bar is melting now, yes. But I've found that I need to really rub it between my hands before I run it in my body. I think that was where I was going wrong before - I was just applying it 'straight'. And, yes, I rinse too.
