I'm henna-ing my hair for the first time today. Currently my head is covered in Saran Wrap. Awesome look, right? It's a long, messy process, but I've heard such good things that I can't wait to see the results -- both the color and the condition of my hair.

I used Caca Brun Mama last Sunday and last night to brighten it even more, and the results were phenomenal. I have a block of Rouge coming in the mail right now. My hair is so incredibly soft!

With Caca Brun, do you get any reddish tints?
I can't decide what I want to use. Currently, my hair is darkish brown with reddish hues. Noir might be fun- I always wanted a deeper contrast between my very pale skin and dark hair, but Brun might give me a more natural look but I don't want it to take away any hues...But I don't know if I want Marron b/c it will be too light.

I got a really beautiful vibrant auburn. My hair is naturally a blah dishwater brown and was virgin when I used it. I used about 2 and a half squares mixed with boiling hot, very strong coffee, a couple tablespoons of lemon juice, and a good healthy shake of paprika. Wrapping your hair in plastic will help the red come out. I left it in for almost 4 hours.

I used to have a Magickal Henna Incantation for when I used to colour my hair (I don't do it any more, I got too old and it just started to look stupid. And a bit sad).

It goes:
