As a moisturizer, it's pretty awesome. Enough hydration for my skin (which is very dry) with no greasy feel. BUT! The coolest thing about Dream Cream is how multi-purpose it is. Sunburn? Dream Cream soothes it. Cut on your leg from shaving? Dream Cream heals it up. Your nose gets all flaky from blowing it non-stop in the winter? Dream Cream takes care of it in one night.
It's the kind of thing you buy once, and then realize how much you love and need it, so you wind up buying a pot every two months. Worth the price tag, definitely.
Depends on what you are looking for. It's a medium weight moisturizer that is very soothing and good for sensitive skin, with a light herbal (lavender and chamomile) scent that tends to fade pretty quickly, so that you'd have to be really sniffing your skin closely to smell it much. I like it for bed time, for when my skin is itchy or irritated or when I need something lightly scented. It's less good in the winter when I need something super moisturizing. Sympathy is somewhat better than, although honestly, none of the Lush creams keep my legs from getting dry (but hardly any other products do either, the best I've found is the hemp body butter from the Body Shop).
I prefer sympathy for the skin. But dream cream is an excellent moisturizer. I just don't love the smell. I dont' think it smells like much, but it's a subtle lavender/chamomile
