Tea Tree works a lot better when it's been placed directly onto spots, because Tea Tree is a natural antiseptic this is why its so brilliant to use on spots and other sorts of open wounds too. I would say that since you find it benefiting your skin to keep using it, but to just put it onto your spots rather than the whole face.
As for Dream Cream, Mark Constantine created it for dry skin, and for the body and hands - which is why it's so brilliant for people with excema ect. So it might not be the best to use on your face - though if you do still wish to use it, make sure that you water it down first, it's way too rich for the face. I'm guessing your skin is either combination or oily, of which I would suggest either Enzimyon for oily skin or Imperialis for combo skin which you would find works a lot better than Dream Cream.

I read on the Lush NA forum that if you want to use Dream Cream, you have to mix it with water before putting it on your face.
