SInce my birthday's coming up and I'm in the middle of some very stressful life changes, I thought that I truly deserved a delivery of yummy lush goodies.  I'd been planning on using the starmag code, but when I saw the other magazine offer, I was over the moon ( Read more... )

As far as favourites, Karma soap & Kreme -- you just can't go wrong with the Karma scent! I adore, adore, adore it.

The others I've tried is Extra Virgin Olive Soap, which doesn't smell much at all (to me) but feels so, so smooth. Not my favourite because I love to sniff my skin :D but it's great for stroking. Also, 17 Cherry Lane: very clean, very gentle, absolutely lovely. Sakura's much the same, only better times 1,000. Top marks all around :D

I agree with everything you said - except the smell of EVO. I LOVE IT. It's one of the few Lush products that I feel leaves a scent... although it is subtle after an hour or two. But it's beautiful, IMO.

To be fair, I got it as part of a soap stack, for Christmas -- so the bottom of it has a tiny touch of Bohemian scent ;) What's it smell like to you? I love the feel of it enough that I might go ahead and buy a fresher 100 grams.

i dunno, kind of green, but not like grass... a little sweet, but like a natural sweetness like clover... i think it's a good, natural, "clean" scent. unisex.

I have much love for all things Karma, which is odd because I couldn't stand patchouli when it was so popular in high school. It's smells soooo sultry and spicy and individual. Mmm!

Agreed. I didn't originally think I'd care for Karma at all. Patchouli? Moi? Never. Then I put some Karma Kreme on and couldn't stop sniffing myself. Now I'm hooked - Karma Kreme, Karma Soap, Karma dusting powder, Karma bubble bar.

I've shyed away from Karma for a while... but I got a free couple of Bling Crosbys after christmas... and it says they're scented with Karma? at first I didn't like it, and gave one to my mother... but now sniffing it from time to time, it really is growing on me. isn't it wonderful how that happens, your eyes get opened to new Lush scents you thought you'd never try or like, and you end up really enjoying them! :)

Maybe I'm out of the loop. I saw the starmag post, but what's the "other magazine offer"? My roommate loves Karma. I really love the bubble bar, but the Kreme makes me sneeze. I love Avobath. It's not as flashy as some but smells and feels really good.

It was actually an automatic thing - if you buy more than $45 of product, you get a free Olive Grove gift set. I did that, only I used my 15% off coupon instead of the Blossom thing - boy, am I kicking myself for that one! =P

well a very happy birthday to you! it's always lovely to indulge in lush goodies on special occasions... or every day... mmmm lush... ;)

tell me, or actually can you give me, a product review on mud flats? it arrives here in australia in a few weeks and I know I can read the lush review on it, but I always prefer to hear customers reviews! like Lush can describe what it is to them, but we can describe what it was like for us!

enjoy the rest of the stash and get back to me about mud flats when you have the time!! xoxo

I am probably the only person in the world that despises the Karma line.

hehe, nope - check the forum, there are TONS of people who hate it vehemently!

and I'm not one of them! VIVA LA KARMA!!!
