I can't live without Aquamarina. My skin is dry and prone to break out too and this stuff just works so well and perfectly. Snow cake, I adore it! and i do wish it was an all year round product and not just Christmas time.
The girls at our Lush store taught me a trick for the glitter. This is true for any of the bombs or bbs that have glitter. Apparently they started using more Cream of Tartar than they used to. This makes the glitter not stick. However, if you mix up the bath a touch before getting out, then get out VERY slowly, the glitter will stay.
Of course, if someone is crazy and doesn't want glitter on them (I'm told it could happen, though I can't imagine it myself... I LOVE glitter!), then get out quickly, and none will stick.
Thanks for the tip! I don't always want to be covered in glitter - going to school or work it's a bit much, but going out in the evening is a great time to sparkle. :)
I wear quite a bit of makeup - a full face of foundation, blush, eye makeup and lipstick. Plus I go for very very thick mascara like Lancome Intencils. It's a bit too much for Aquamarina to handle, so I like to remove my makeup first - then Aquamarina does the rest.
Another thing is that I try not to use too much Aquamarina at once - it's expensive! So I ration it.
ohhhhhhhh no! your review of Snowcake makes me WISH WISH WISHHHH I'd picked some up at Christmas time! DARN IT. I was too in love with the xmas soap Angel's Delight and didn't think of trying any of the others. Guess I'll have to wait til next chrissie, DARNNNNN!
