LOL! I voted for Weld too when the Dems threw that dumb-ass Silber at me. I think that was the only time I have voted Republican. But I will again if it becomes necessary. President Obama better do something about this economic mess and at least make a considerable dent in the deficit or they are not going to stand a chance next time around.

I've never identified well with the political group that's had the "liberal" label since I was old enough to pay attention, but I've got even less in common with those factions that have had a stranglehold on the Republican Party for the past 10-12 years. There's a lot of uncomfortable truth for GOP in this post and the articles it links to. To use the baseball outfield analogy, while left field is the traditional turf for the Democrats and right field is Republican territory, the current Republicans have mostly abandoned center field to expand into foul territory beyond the right-field line. (Me? I'm somewhere between the scoreboard and the Goodyear Blimp.)
