I think the argument is that W's administration hasn't succeeded (yet) in selling off valuable American oil fields through bribery and corruption, while Harding's administration did.
But then again, Harding never got the United States embroiled in an unpopular war, much less one that was based on false premises...
Besides the fact that Harding himself was corrupt, and W (for all of his flaws) has integrity (I'll respect the arguement that the war on Iraq was a mistake, but anyone who believes he did it just for "Big Oil" is a moron).
And I want to hear the arguement that Jimmy Carter was a better President than W.
Besides- anyone who ticks off Olbermann gets bonus points.
Actually, I've read multiple articles claiming that Harding never profited from the corruption in his administration. Admittedly he was aware of what his buddies were doing, but several sources claim that he simply didn't have the force of will to actually make them stop.
Then again, Harding had an (unproven) reputation as a womanizer, but that's not particularly unusual for a US President...
