Some of it, yes, although it's not nearly as bad if you're not reading it in English at that point. Which translation you read makes a lot of difference - and the original may still be phrased the same way, but flow a lot better in French.
Some of it, no.
And there's always the running joke that "No-one can possibly read all of Dumas - not even Dumas". It's pretty well a given that Dumas sold his name and published ghostwritten works, because his name on a book would sell it. This means that there's a large variance in the quality. It's like if Stephen King wrote his own books, but ALSO published Dean Koontz and Anne Rice and Christopher Pike and Joe Hill and three hundred other, lesser-known names, all under the name "Stephen King"
