October ended up having a larger than average number of books I just didn't care for. And for most it wasn't even that they were bad as that they didn't click with me. Winterfair Gifts really hits a spot with me. It is the story where I REALLY start to care about Ekaterin. And I finally accept Roic as a replacement for Bothari.

If you haven't heard, there is a new novel scheduled for next year that has Ivan as the main character.
