Awwww hell, this is exactly what I wanted and more. It's just so... I don't know, it's hard to explain, but I love seeing characters we're used to as adults from a children's perspective, I think we learn a lot about them, and this is no exception.

And Lureen dreaming her dreams reminds me of Jack... and why the two of them got together in the first place. Sharing dreams of bigger and better things couldn't neither have.

I love that Fayette and L.D. tell her different things and she listens to her mom. And that she wants both things for her birthday--that sounds so much like a kid to me (I was a girl much like that growing up, hehe).

Anyway... thank you. 'Cause that was just fantastic and hit the spot. ♥♥♥♥

ooc: Thanks? I guess Lureen is really screaming at me tonight, because I just read this and I didn't even feel like I wrote it? I didn't even see half the things you saw in it until I pointed it out. All I know is I was sitting here pouting, swining my legs, and typing away, I guess I captured a little of who I was as a little girl, and tried to mix that with what I know about my Lureen-- my mom-- when she was a little girl. Put in a big ol' drop of extract of Lureen, and poof, one child. I think Lureen is screamin at me because she and Jack are about to have a confrontation in my writing soon, and I need to ground myself in her before going in to that. Either that, or old-fashioned withdrawal. Lureen somehow puts me in touch with all the characters because everything I do with her, I have to go in with a clear mind. Ok, I'm babbling now. I miss you! I'm glad I get to e-hang out with you tonight. Alexis was trying to hook up with my Lureen, but I told her that if Lureen turns Lez you have first dibs.

Hi! Just a note, if you're going to post heaps of these, do you mind putting them behind a cut? Just because, you're still friended to the community Desperatefans, and it's hard enough trawling through the friends-page to find open-posts and stuff without having to go through heaps of drabbles that aren't even related to the community.
