Van was awesome today. He made me leak the tears. He and Eric both deserve Emmy nods and deserve to win. Love them both. Hate this stupid storyline. Hate Noah for being a selfish jerk and Chris for continuing to be Chris. Ugh.

not that one. she leaks. the tears.

:) And I agree wholeheartedly. If they don't get Emmy nods, I'm protesting dammit.

I really doubt that Van is going to get nommed this year. He didn't when after his beyond amazing performance during Holden's not!death last year and in my opinion, his work then was better than it is now.

And if Eric gets nommed, let alone wins over Trent, then I don't even know what daytime's fellow actors are thinking. Eric did a great job, I'm not going to deny that. But I personally don't think that he did a better job than Trent.

I personally doubt Eric's chances at getting a nom, not because of Trent's work being in any way better or less, but because I don't think Eric will submit himself, based entirely on my own belief that this was probably an experiment for him but submitting, especially when your show is over, takes work on your own part, and let's face it--he's past it. Show is over. He wasn't involved for that long. I would hope he submits, but I don't think he will, and even if he did, I don't know that he made the connections in his brief stint that would get him nominated ( ... )

I'm with you 100%. As much as I hate hate hate this SL, I think Angus is going to be a good thing.

Also, Chris is an asshat. Just saying. I hope he realizes that he killed Reid.

I hope he realizes that he killed Reid.

Um, can you prove your case to me regarding this statement because... um? What? How exactly did Chris kill Reid?

Do you perhaps mean that Chris's inability to come clean with the fact that he was sick in time to be places on the donor register in time for him to get a heart? And thus Reid wouldn't have gone out on his own to argue with the surgeon from Bay City?

But Chris didn't force Reid to go to Bay City. Chris didn't even know that he was going? So, I guess I can't lay blame, especially when it comes to such a heavy statement like the one that I quoted, on a guy who was completely clueless regarding Reid and his mission.

You know, I think during an episode like today, everyone gets a free pass for their grief, and I don't think she should have to defend statements like this one. Just my unsolicited .02.

I understand that. But it just sounds like she's putting a knife in Chris's hand. Like Chris is standing over Reid's body with malice. When Chris, as of right now, doesn't even know what happened to Reid. He's the furthest from being in the know, and yet the one who is vilified for no apparent reason.

I just want to understand, that's all.

Reid and Angus are obviously Reidlated!

...sorry, I'm sorry. That was bad.

I actually really enjoyed today’s episode. I wasn’t at all excited for it and when 1:00 rolled around I was all, “Eh, Okay. Onto the Chris Hughes show. Gag me ( ... )

And Van Hansis: you are so amazing. I can’t sing your praises enough. I love how he can express Luke’s grief so perfectly without having to go into an over-the-top flip out. I feel like a flip out would be appropriate and in Luke’s character, but this-this calm, broken devastation just conveys perfectly how SHATTERED Luke is and how he barely has enough strength to keep it together, let alone pick up the pieces.

This. So much bb!

I really would love to see Luke loose his shit, but I agree that this utter devastation he's showing says it all and more.

so agree about van. he just broke me today. he is absolutely amazing and extraordinary. he so deserves that emmy, and any other award they give for daytime if there are any others.
