Time will tell 4/?
A/N: Again, thanks for all your lovely and funny comments! I really appreciate it. So, I have been home over the weekend and have not been able to write anything, but while I was heading back to the town I work in, I got stuck on a train station for almost two hours. So I picked up a pen and some papers and this is what came out. It´s a bit short but I have started on the next chapter and thought this would be a good place to stop. As usually I haven’t got a beta so all mistakes are mine.
Chapter 4
Reid almost choked on his sandwich and he stumbled to the kitchen to get something to drink. Luke followed him closely, patting him on the back, a bit amused to have gotten such a strong reaction. When Reid finally could breath again he turned to face Luke.
“Could you repeat that last line?” He was pretty sure he had heard right but he wanted to be completely sure.
“Considering your reaction I am pretty sure you heard me the first time, but I can say it again. I want to have sex with you.”
“But why? I mean, I can understand why but something has to be seriously wrong with you. We have no contact at all for months and then you suddenly show up at my place demanding sex?”
Luke blushed a bit but he was not going to give up.
“Yeah well, is that a yes or no?”
“Again why? I said I´m not interested anymore.”
Despite the coolness in his voice Reid had to restrain himself from grabbing Luke. He had been fantasizing about sex with Luke almost since the first time he saw him. He may not have liked him, but he had wanted him nevertheless. And the months they been apart haven’t made him want Luke any less.
But he didn´t want to give in. If he had to he could at least admit to himself that what Luke did had in fact hurt him, and he wasn’t used to feeling like that. Giving in now would only put him in that position again.
On the other hand, Reid thought and swallowed hard, the chance of having sex with Luke, at least once, was… tempting. And he would also get the chance to show Luke what he missed out on when he chose that ridiculous coffeemaker.
Luke interrupts his thoughts. “You said you weren’t interested in talking to me or giving me another chance, you never mentioned not being interested in sleeping together.”
Luke wipes his palms on his jeans, trying hard to hide the nervousness in his voice. Why doesn´t this work?
Ok, so the magazine had stated that if everything else failed you should dress up in sexy linguine and seduce your man, but Luke didn´t think Reid would appreciate boxers-briefs in silk with lace. And to be honest Luke didn´t know who to seduce him either.
When he and Noah finally had hit it off it hadn’t been like he imagined it. Of course with some training it had been good and sometimes even great but their sexlife was just like the rest of their relationship. They did it when and how Noah wanted, and he wasn’t particularly interested in experimenting. He actually seemed to be satisfied with a blow- or hand job once or twice a month.
Luke shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Reid still hadn’t answered and just stood there, watching him with one eyebrow arched.
Luke sighed. “Ok, I can´t stop thinking about you and I really want you. The way you made me fell, no one have ever done that before, and I just, I feel like I have to…” Reid raises one hand and Luke thankfully stops babbling.
“Ok”, Reid says.
“Ok? You mean…?” Luke isn´t sure what Reid says okay to.
“Yes, let´s have sex”, Reid smirks. “But I have a few rules you need to follow.”
“Of course, anything you say.” Luke can’t believe this is happening, he never thought Reid would actually agree.
“Don´t accept before you actually have heard to the terms. What kind of businessman are you?” Reid shakes his head mockingly but doesn’t wait for an answer. “First off, if we do this, it´s just for today. Tomorrow you go back to that small-town of yours and I don´t have to worry about running in to you ever again. Second, no touchy-feely crap, this is plain sex. And last, you are under no circumstances allowed to mention what’s his name in my presence.”
Reid has no idea why he is doing this but there is no point in denying that he wants Luke. And maybe, if they do this, he can go back to his old life and forget everything about Luke Snyder.
“Do we have an agreement?”
Luke hesitates a bit before answering. He doesn’t want this to be just for today and he doesn’t want it to just be sex either, but right now he is ready to accept and take anything Reid offers, no matter how small it is.
“Yes”, he says. “Yes, we have an agreement.”
