Dramatic ending much!

But this is why I will come for MORE.

Reid obviously feels guilty, hence his general need to care for Luke,
but I can already see there is sometnigh more ther *grins*

Loved this bit where he goes through Luke's file and says it reads like a bad soap opera (well like any soap opera really, Reid honey:>)- it's so breaking of the 4th wall-sih of you :>>).

The scene with Holden and Lily (and Bob) clearly shows how his bedside manner still stinks, which balanced with his caring for Luke makes him utterly, and wonderfully in character.

And Lily Grimaldi? I smell a story there, but will try not to speculate for the time being, not to high-jack the story for my own purposes again.
Coz if I did it'd end with shameless forniication in the OR or something. :>>

The whole 'Lily Gramaldi' thing - I did it originally because at the time when Reid first aired (back in January), she was still married to Damian(sp?)and I wanted to keep true to some of that - however, we don't learn where Damian is until later on...which is code for "I haven't come up with anything I like yet".

He may be shamelessly fornicating with an office help right now? *flutters her eyelashes innocently*.

Or he might be o some sort of a business trip (this is me trying not to be evil, also it fits more with the timeline of my rant outside the brackets), return later, raise hell in the hospital about proper treatment of his only son (bla bla bla) once Reid has settled in a bit, and grown more attached ehem I mean used to Luke, so that when he sees the whole Lily-is-a-trainnwreck and bad-daddy&good-daddy combo, he doesn't anymore wanna run from Luke, but just develops more sympathy and understanding for him.

Or something:>
I'm just saying that in a highly non-intrusive fashion lol.

While the first Damien option does make a pretty picture, I'm leaning towards option 2...right after Reid made his first appearance is when Damien went nuts, tried to kill Meg, etc and then disappeared. I'll probably just have that happen the same.

Heh, I'm still working out stuff that has to happen between this chapter and the next two. I seriously just had an idea to reinvent the Katie/Reid intro scene, so we'll see how that goes.

Isn't that the way it always goes with other people's fic? :)

Yay, a new chapter! I love how in character Reid still is. I also love seeing him be medical, seems like he hasn't been a doctor on the show in ages.
