Mr. Hansis can have ALL the money I can afford to give.
Did I miss him asking for $ in the article or are you just feeling snarky today? Ha

Always good to hear or read about him. And I'm giddy he's gonna film in Boston. More shows/movies should film in Beantown.

I agree, more things should be filmed in Boston. It's such a beautiful city. Plus the kickass accent!

Well yes, that was 50% snark (I have nothing against crowdfunding, it's just the dimensions and the whole seeing-fans-as-cash-cows thing I take issue with). But Van did say in a previous interview that he's going the ES route with Ms Guidance - drumming up his own funds for the first couple episodes and then doing a Kickstarter. So he will be asking for money soon enough.

thanks for posting Moerlin!
It's a bit hard to read about his "empty" life. Growing up the hard way.
We as fans are hopeful that he will be succesfull again, right?
A person with such a talent has to be seen.

I guess talent can only take you so far. You gotta be in the right place at the right time and all that. And if that fails, produce your own content. So I guess Van is already doing pretty much everything that's possible.

It's a thorough, thorough shame that talented and handsome actors like VH and ESS do not get steady, well-paying employment. They get to do guest roles once in a while or have to turn to theater to earn their living. It must be really tough on them and their families. Hope things improve for them ASAP. And, then there are idiots like the horrific Jean Passanante who keep on getting hired time after time.
