That was beautiful. I cannont spell or write or do anthing at this point (although I'm not that eloquent on the reg ;) I am the worst at commenting and have faithfully stalked this from beginning to end. Loved it. Gar, grumbly at Luke for his .. gurr.. (see my words work so well) but your discriptions of Reid and his overcoming Luke's leaving him... sigh, love it, and then love it some more. Wow hon, georgous.

That was really great!
The "unsoapyness" yet beauty of what's happened here.
Reid's and Jamie's heart to heart - showing that Reid IS able to trust! I could hug Jamie for an hour!
The margins - yes the 1% just is it, isn't it? It's keeping us alive, keeping us happy because 100% of safety and settling down is boring and put bees in our bonnets...

"...or in the few seconds of uncertainty he saw in Luke's eyes before he ever walked away."
*sigh*
But then we would never have had such a beautiful story.
I am going to read this again and again, like I've done the last couple of days.
Thank you for not letting go, even when travelling half across the world.

This was moving and beautiful and I loved that Reid was ready to take a chance on that 1%. The battle between the heart and the mind is never easy. Glad the heart won!

“I'm glad.” Reid smiles slightly, feeling genuinely happy at Jamie moving on. “But a psychologist? Really? Not even a doctor?”
This was a great moment of lightness, and so Reid-like. I really liked Reid's discussion with Jamie.

This felt very real, especially Reid's terror of Luke leaving again. It's all very fragile but the guys have hope, even if they are "terrified".

Thank you very much for a lovely story.
