Always jumping to conclusions, come on after everything that has happened and the progress that has been made Reid honestly thinks Luke would just jerk him around. Luke needs to slap some sense into him but at least Reid can see how it felt when Luke thought he didn't care about him.

Yes, Luke did say that he and Reid are right for each other (maybe not exactly in those words, but yeah, he did).

I actually love that scene for so many reasons, including that, because it's a huge part of Luke to care for people esp. Noah (regardless of whether Noah deserves it).

I have so much I want to quote from the chapter, but I think I can easily say the entire conversation that mirrored the scene from the show is fantastic. It belongs here and it's set perfectly in this story.

It's great that you had Reid spy them and have great doubts. One big hurdle before we finish this journey with Luke and Reid. A journey I have loved throughout!
