Oh, my, did Reid find something???

I feel so bad for Reid--he can't lose Luke, please. It's just as devastating seeing Reid like that as it was watching Luke pleading on the show.

I like Reid's determination; hope it pays off or helps somewhat.

Great chapter.

I could really feel Reid's desperation and determination when writing this. He's a doctor, he knows the facts, yet he's being guided by his heart. He refuses to give up hope, which I LOVE about him. <3

Horrible, wonderful place to end the fic. Nice integration between new scenes and flashbacks. Suspenseful writing. [I'm a bad, bad person for being glad that the Bay City heart isn't going to Chris]

Aw, thank you! The flashback stuff is really fun to write and I swear, there IS a reason behind them...

I don't want Chris to have ANY heart. I hate him so.

Why am I getting the horrible feeling that Reid is starting to believe Dr. Dixon's prognosis. I was so sure everything was going to be okay for the boys :(

In Reid's eyes, he is the best doctor in the country, so of course he won't believe John or Bob or anyone else. He refuses to buy into the idea that Luke is dying until HE sees everything for himself. He truly believes he's Luke's best hope. If there's anyone who can save Luke, it's him.
