Reid can distinctly remember when he lost his first patient. He was stuck doing rounds in the ER as an intern -something he loathed.

This story is so great! I keep waiting for you to save Luke, but then I remember you said character death. Is there any chance it won't be Luke?

I'm sticking with this. It's good, so I can't stop and I hope this ends differently cause Reid is brilliant and unlike Bob and John on the show he is dedicated to helping someone no matter how hopeless it looks. I was so glad to see your name come up tonight on my LJ list! Thanks for the update.

Reid will be fighting hard, that's for sure. He always used to say he could keep his personal and professional lives separate. I think this will be the first time the lines are blurred for him. He'll be interesting to watch.

I know a lot of people don't like Katie but I have always loved her (except when she was with Mike. Oh and Chris). She and Reid had such a beautiful friendship. It sucks we didn't get to see more. :(

Yeah, I don't think Reid's going to give up on Luke. He's so in love with him and blaming himself too, so I think all that will make him fight for Luke to get better. I hope so, anyway.

Great chapter--very emotional.

Reid will NEVER give up on Luke. He wants that whole enchilada, remember? And we know how Reid is where food is concerned, lolz.
