A/N: I found this incomplete and untitled story on my hard-drive a few weeks ago. I had originally started it for the 2013 LuRe Yule Challenge but ran out of steam. I wasn't sure I wanted to post it this year because the story (and now the title) seem so derivative; also it explores some of the themes I'm writing about in the story I want to post for this year's Challenge (which is still incomplete), so it felt repetitive. Thanks to encouragement from moerlin and teddybear9298, I am posting it. Also thanks to satine_1984 for the lovely banner!
