A little gap-filler from the 6/30 episode:

“Now I don’t know where I stand in my personal life or in my professional life,” Reid says, looking at Luke.

“Well, neither do I but, um, maybe we can figure it out together.”

They stare at each other, sure of what they want but unsure of what to do or what to say.

“Luke,” Reid starts before his throat tightens and the words get stuck in his throat. Once again, he’s at a loss for words, his brain not working as normally as it usually does. He blames Luke Snyder’s close proximity for this. And his eyes. And his smile--that damn smile. “Luke,” he tries again but Luke cuts him off

Luke shaving off all that stubble. Excellent! That would have made for an awesome scene.

Luke snorts. “You call that a beard? I bet I have more hair on my chest right now than you’ve ever been able to grow on your face. And I don’t like it; it’s too scratchy against my skin.”

Reid pretends to be offended. “What are you talking about? I grew this within a matter of hours since I saw you this morning. I think that’s the fastest any man’s grown hair in the same day.”

Thank you! I should be finishing my BB fic but I couldn't resist. For some reason, I love the idea of LuRe in the bathroom doing domestic stuff like brushing teeth, shaving, brushing hair. *shrugs*

I love the idea too. And thanks to Bittersweet, at least we have visuals of ESS in such scenes. Better than nothing, I guess.

Oooh, Luke shaving Reid is sexy while remaining G-Rated. I'm suddenly disappointed that TPTB didn't think of this. Very cool.

As far as I'm concerned, this is officially part of canon now. What a sweet scene! The lovely bit of sexual tension, the hinting at future kisses, Reid's assurance to Luke that he would make the same decision again. All perfect. I love this. :)
