Finnish readers, pay attention. About 80000 Finnish passwords have been made public by some hackers. (The links are in Finnish.) Go here and check that your username or email isn't listed. If it is, then go and change that password ASAP! You can find more information hereI couldn't find myself on the list, but then again I don't use Finnish net ( Read more... )

Multa löyty yksi käyttäjätunnus tuolta... tosin se tuskin on mun käyttäjätunnus, koska toi näköjään tekee eron ison ja pienten alkukirjainten kohdalla ja tiedän että samaa tunnusta on muillakin. No, vaihdoinpahan varmuuden vuoksi salasanan kuitenkin. Ihan hyvä koska mä käytän vaan yhtä salasanaa ja sen modifikaatioita :D

Unrelated to this post, sorry, but The Daily Show last Thursday was commenting on those Target: Iraq (and now Target: Iran) bits on US TV, and made a Finland-related spoof. :)

ftwlol... I can't even remember the last time that I ate herring. Are the news really like that in the US? (I know that you live in Canada, but yeah...) That's totally different from the news that we got about the war in Iraq.

My US news is filtered through "fake news shows" like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report that do humourous commentary on actual events, and various posts on digg. The one most relevant to this discussion that I can think of at the moment is this FOX ATTACKS! Iran video.

Outside of the mass media, you get people editing and altering it to provide various sociopolitical commentary. Right now "Military Health Disclaimer" is the first item on this Political Remix blog and it's pretty good.

Hmm, that's interesting. I don't think that we have anything like that going on in the Finnish news "scene". Or maybe I'm just blind to the propaganda that's in the Finnish news. xp But then again I rarely even watch the news and our telly hasn't been working for over a month now (due to analogue transmissions being switched-off in Finland).

But Finnish news sure look boring compared to some of that stuff on Fox.
