So it seems that Brevard County school district has decided to formerly ban "furry attire" starting with the next school year. Apparently the district has concerns over the schools having to cater to the special needs of students feelingthe ban would act as a sort of stop gap of what the see as a potential extension of the transgender/ gender

A Florida school district banned 'furry attire.' It's a response to claims students identify as animals. They do not.
It's good to see a headline tell it as it is straight away (and for the article to make the same point again), but what's really silly about all this is that humans are animals anyway.
Of course, it's not as silly as the litterbox thing. I mean, really? Do people really believe that?

Fear is a powerful weapon especially when children are involved. I still remember the Simpson episode when Principle Skinner orders the removal of colored chalk from the classrooms because it was stimulating the children's creativity too much leading to *gasp* independent thinking
