Sirius always got irrationally angry when Remus said things like that. On the one hand, it should have heartened him to know that Moony wouldn't stray--if "stray" was the word to use, exactly, for betraying their little agreement--and on the other it infuriated him that Remus didn't know how well-wanted he was, that he was desirable.

Oh, that's it exactly, just perfect. I love how protective/defensive/possessive/adoring Sirius is of Remus in this whole piece. *sighs happily*

off and on, of course, given Remus' propensity to disappear for vast periods of time and Sirius' propensity for having royal sulks and pretending that other people could interest him

Sirius adoration moment. *pauses to adore/worship Sirius* *resumes reading*

And when Sirius did it again, sinking his teeth into Remus' shoulder as he did, Remus threw back his head, showing that curving, beautiful neck again, with rainlight patterning his skin, mouth opened and silent, gasping for oxygen. Which always made Sirius feel like he owned the universe and that Remus was ( ... )

Mmm, long feedback. Much thanks my dearest, for all your kind words, especially considering Remus/Sirius is not your favorite cup of tea. And Sirius and Remus are easy for me to write, I think, mostly because they have the type of relationship--when it's good, anyway, nobody really wants to see themselves in a Sirius/Remus relationship when they're at their downs--that I want to have. Fantasy is a powerful motivator.

Remus was quiet for a long time, and finally said, "I only hear us breathing."

And Sirius smiled, and said, "Yeah. That's it. That's it exactly."

GPOPGPHOAGN;W So. Much. Love. For this alone, you are a goddess. For the rest of this gorgeous, hilarious, ohsohot story? You are your own damn pantheon.

Sirius, you utter girl.

so, so utterly, wonderfully true. ^_____________^

insecure sirius rox my sox. and ambiguous, mind-fucking, playful remus......... rrrRRRRRow.

the language was fabulous. i'd get into more details, but i'm still buzzed from the afterglow. ^____^

well-written, restrainedly sappy remus/sirius... yum.

OH GODS I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION. their on-again off-again unofficially committed relationship, remus's books, sirius's sleeping around, wannabe bohemia.... it's so hard for me to remember all the details i liked because it's just one warm happy feeling of yes yes yes everything should be depicted just that way.

I think something deep inside me has a secret kink for ambiguous, mind-fucking Remus, because honestly, shouldn't that be the way he is for always? Ambiguous and sexy and mind-fucky? It's just brilliant. I'm so glad you liked it, thanks so much for reading!

*has melted after final sentences* Ahh, that's so lovely. I love that Sirius never actually asked and that Remus never actually said yes - such a boy thing to do. And the image of scruffy Remus standing on the front step ... so hot, and Sirius holding onto him during the Sex ... dgsfgdnjal.

Awww...I'm glad you liked it! I actually struggled with the ending initially, because I was trying to make it...too perfect, if that makes sense. To have the dialogue mean too much, or mean something just right, when in all honesty that's not the way that real life works, and not the way that I wanted their world to work. I just needed something...good, and real. And I think I got it. Either way, thanks so much for reading!

Yes! I love Sirius in love. It's utterly gorgeous. I think that the world rots in envy of the person that Sirius loves, because he loves so completely. And thanks!
