*giggles* The ending is going to be a huge surprise, trust me. Well, sort of a surprise. Maybe not for those who have seen or read Silence of the Lambs. :D And, yup, Spike doesn't play with Xander. But Spike never said anything about tugging on that leash to test how far he could go. muwhahahaha!

Evil and Twisted Spike is eh best.

Don't worry, Xander's no Jodie. There will be the typical thing with Hannibal at the end, only with Spike instead, but that's the only simularity, actually. The rest is a big surpricse. hee!

Just letting you know that apart from Sexymermaid, you are one of the best writers in the Buffy/Angel world. :)

I am soooo enjoying this story. Honestly, if it was a legit book, I would definately buy this... especially if it had some m/m action... :: hint... hint ::

I loved the movie and the book and can't wait to find out where you're going with it!!!

The psychological moments are the best. Much better than any gory details!!!

Thank you so much! ^_^ I'm soo glad you like it. I love writing the psychological parts of it. There will be some gore in the next chapter or so, but it'll be taken from the investigative perspective. :D

Oh. My. God! I have never read, watched or paid any attention to the Hannibal Lector series beyond selling the books way back when.

Duuuude, this story rocks! I saw it and since I'd missed all the other postings, I printed the chapters out and read it on the bus ride into work. Okay, how's this: I nearly missed my stop!! Practically swore out loud when I realized the bus was rolling up to it. Yeah yeah, quit laughing. If I could have navigated the sidewalks and crosswalks, not to mention the stop at Starbucks all while reading I would have!

Oh and should you ever need a beta, I volunteer. Not just 'cause, you know, I'd get to read chapters early.... *smirks*
