97F!!! And it is a really odd sort of hot weather- like standing next to a hot oven. Are the fires seriously raising the temperature? I suppose at that magnitude they could easily be. Air around campus was also kinda smokey

Ew. When I was at work the other day, this one guy said, "Hey, good-lookin'" to me. He wasn't my customer; he was being helped by my co-worker while I did something nearby, so I just turned and glared at him. I didn't want to deign to give him a response.

I don't think it's the fires that make it hot, I think it's the Santa Ana winds coming from the deserts and stuff. But I'm sure the fires don't help. =P Sucking out the humidity (what little there is...piffle).
