Use Google Chrome, download this extension, and "Every tab you open this December 15 through 19 will serve a good cause" (ie one of the charities you pick from their list of 5).

I've had it installed all afternoon and I have yet to figure out the specifics of who is benefiting from my over-tabbing. :/

It says you choose at the end of the day. I'm not certain how it works but I'm sure we'll figure it out. If you click on the little icon for the extension that shows up to the right of the URL you see your tab count and what it roughly equates to :)

I think I'll wait until the end to choose - see how many tabs I can get. I'm not sure I'll use google chrome after this, but there are some nifty things.

lol I've been opening so many tabs. Every time I go to a new page I make it a new tab even if normally I would have just clicked on something within the page.

I've been doing this, though I've only managed 27 trees so far. :\

Apparently it's capped at 250 tabs per day per person :/
