So, it occurred to me that I'm going to be off doing more conference things until the end of the month, and while that probably doesn't affect anyone else writing in any way, it does affect me doing a round-up post at the end! So, I figured I'd arbitrarily decide to give everyone more time. (Am also posting this to the comm.)

I'm actually glad about the extension. I do have a speech to work on due a week from Wednesday and I think I might need someone to beta my fic before I post it and despite me being on Spring Break everyone else seems to not be or are still busy.

And excited for the other thing. :D

It's technically Spring Break here, but it is also conference season, so...yeah. :-) But, yes, I figured, if I wasn't going to be able to get to a collected post immediately anyway, why not let other people have the time...?

It's about time, for that other thing, right? And my birthday is a good time to give other people a present. Plus, deadlines will help with motivation... :-)

It's definitely been nice having the extra time, because my brain is just a bowl of ideas and since I've been handwriting it, I have to take time to type it up, but I feel better handwriting it over just typing it up because it's like it's gone through an edit already. I'll just have to double check it at the end to make sure my fingers didn't screw up too badly.

Definitely time for the other thing, but I know it'll have been well worth the wait. :D

There's something very connected-feeling, intimate and personal, about handwriting a story, I always think. I do it sometimes, if not near a computer, and I almost always like it when I do. :-)

Soon, I promise! Working on it now, in fact...

It should be! This one's always a very nice group of people. Plus, movie night! (The Golden Voyages of Sinbad, this year.)

Yep, THAT thing. *grin* The deadline will help me finish. It's about time... (I actually just wrote a tiny little moment that I really like, and I want to share, but I also want it to be new when people read it in the story...decisions, decisions.)

Don't be sad! At least not about that. Or, well, right then, yes, because it's a moment of happy melancholy, if that's a thing. But trust me...and remember that the boys haven't given each other their wedding-presents yet ( ... )
