The joys of being a medievalist! (I could've posted "Le Debat du con et du col," but that might've been a step too far...oh, those medieval French writers...)
And, thanks, my dear! It was. :-) Hope you got to do something thoroughly decadent and indulgent, for yourself!
Candles? Really? I mean, the thumb thing makes sense and I suppose the carrot could if one had absolutely no other options, but candles just sound like one of the worst ideas ever. Hope you had a happy Valentine's Day!!
Unlit, I assume! I...suppose you could, er, have something made out of wax that might be sufficient...? *is not an expert on Restoration self-pleasuring methods* *though that'd be a fantastic research specialty* That's a fabulous poem, though, you should really go and find the whole thing. As it were. :-p
We did! Not too terribly exciting, since it was mid-week, but we did manage to go out for dinner, at least. And this past weekend was also fun. (We learned some things about activities that ought not to be engaged in immediately before, or returned to after, spending all day walking round a museum with friends. I've been more sore before, but I think this lasted the longest... On the other hand, got to experience Awesome Husband in Comforting Mode, which involves chocolate and cuddling and caretaking. Totally worth it anyway, because awesome, but the cuddling's a nice bonus!)
Hope your Valentine's Day was also lovely! (I still have some extra superhero valentines; want one?)
But wax like... softens with heat... that still doesn't sound good. (Hahaha that would be the best research specialty to announce during awkward dinner conversations ever
