So much fun, today! *all the hugs* And thank you for lunch, and gifts, and just taking the time to come and see me! And I have your fic sitting here tempting me, but it'll be my reward after I do some packing...

Hope you like! (There's at least one more in this series, right? The one in which James has a run-in with a shark, and calls Michael from some hospital three towns over, where he'd been unable to swim anymore, and Michael has ALL the emotions...)

I had so much fun with you yesterday! I'm not usually a spontaneous person, but I'm so glad I decided to come visit you! It was a fantastic day.

*flails* James & Michael are so adorable! When I read the description about first kisses, it didn't occur to me that this would be James's first kiss as a human, which adds a new layer of adorableness! I love how he pauses to consider that yes, this is something humans do and he does want to do it with Michael. *melts*

I also love James being unselfconsciously nude and Michael glomming onto the sea-folk tradition of giving sea shells. ;-)

Yes, James isn't new to kissing, of course, but sea-folk tend to take those things more lightly, pure pleasure in sex, and then moving on or not, as partners agree...James isn't sure how humans approach this, and, of course, has never kissed someone fully human, and someone he's got Serious Feelings for, and why can't humans just have some easy indication of interest, again, that's what seashells are FOR... :-)

Michael, of course, now just carries seashells everywhere, and hands them to James quite often. :-)
