I have everyone fooled, even me

You think I'm a computer geek, but I'm not. I can't even figure out rss feeds. I'm an idiot even while reading articles on "how to create an rss file."

Ah, but being a computer geek just means that 1) you know what RSS is, 2) you knew how to find an article about creating an RSS file, 3) you spent actual time attempting to read that article. Actually knowing how to do it is not really required for geekdom. Just wasting brain space and time on it.

Huh... I guess I won't ask you advice on how to set up an RSS feed for my blog to LJ, then...

well, I am feeling better. I was trying to reinvent the wheel. Wordpress and such helps you, you don't HAVE to create the rss file.

I was basically trying to do it from scratch and getting lost. I can lean on the crutch of the blog, I think...stay tuned...

I used MovableType, and publish it at Project:Lucidity. Been thinking along the same lines as you have with your other site... writing on the website and linking it to LJ. Although, I'd still make "social" posts only on LJ and not on P:L.

I just haven't done much with either lately.

What I think will happen is I will keep lunesse:LJ and turn it friends only, completely. It will still be there for those posts I want only a few to read. The feed, which now is sucessfully running, will be everything else, written in lunesse.com's blog and ported over to the feed, showing up on folks' friends list to add it. I think it's a good system.
