Lune Legacy - Chapter 6: Enough Cake for a Lifetime

Jun 23, 2009 00:42

Welcome to Chapter 6 of the Lune Legacy.

Welcome to Chapter 6 of the Lune Legacy entitled "Enough Cake for a Lifetime". The last chapter ended with the triplets growing into toddlers and the twins growing into children. Trey, Pandora and Eve now required just a bit less attention from their parents, and Rose and Kelita were much more independant.

The toddlers acted like all toddlers did. Trey was much like Kelita in the fact that she enjoyed chewing off dolls heads.

The day after everyone aged, Cleo and Thornton went on their first real date. This teen was hired to babysit the children. Unfortunately, he was more interested in his pants than the toddlers howling in the other room.

Cleo and Thornton grabbed dinner silently, happily enjoying the lack of crying infants and toddlers. They had been stuck in the house since the triplets were born. They had almost forgotten what it was like to be headache-free.

Not wanting to return home so soon, they went to a show at the theatre, then decided to put on their own show outside the building.

Their show was apparently much more interesting than the one playing inside. Old man Alto even thought they deserved an award.

It was getting ridiculous. They should have charged admission.

When the crowd cleared, the most surprising thing happened. Even Cleo didn't believe it.

Thornton had proposed to her. The next step in their relationship had taken place. Cleo was too speechless to comment.

Back in the house the next morning, Kelita was showing her genius trait. In a house with seven people and two bathrooms, you always want to be the first person awake.

The twins attend school and look none too pleased about it.

Cleo can't wait to return to work.
"Oh my God, the crying, the screaming, the constant neediness! Make it go away!"

Soon enough, Cleo, just a day or two more.

A family dinner isn't a normal occurance in this household, although they try. Thornton, oddly enough, is the chef in the family. It was either cook or take care of the triplets, and he made the sane choice.

Birthday time came again before anyone realised it. Trey was the first to age. She was a hot-headed, but friendly, heavy sleeper.

Pandora was next. She was a friendly and excitable technophobe.

Eve was the last of the triplets. She was a friendly never-nude who loved the outdoors.

The twins aged as well. Rose grew up first and became an ambitious, easily-impressed loner who was a computer-whiz.

Kelita was the last of the Lune bunch. She was a flirty and ambitious evil genius.

A family shot.

The next day was a Saturday so everyone went off in their own directions. Cleo had some errands to run for work so she planned to meet up with her family afterwards. Thornton took the opportunity to go to the gym, bringing Rose and Pandora along with him. Rose happily trailed after her stand-in father, as she still completely adored Thornton, moreso than she liked her mother even.

Eve went off to fish by herself, happy to finally be alone.

Pandora decided to fish as well, but a little differently than Eve.

Trey followed her older half sister to the park where she met Sam Sekemoto. She spent the rest of the day playing tag with him.

Kelita scoped the park for potential romance. She wasn't having very good luck though.

At the gym, Rose was trying to impress Carmen McDowell with her extensive computer knowledge. Carmen was the son of Einstein, one of Cleo's many romantic interests.

Back home, Thornton tried to spend a little time with his own biological children. He really didn't seem to be able to connect with them.

Meanwhile, the twins were out getting part-time jobs. Rose became a cashier at the supermarket and Kelita got a job at the spa.

The first day of school came and went for the triplets. Eve brought home Brannon Keaton.

Kelita was more interested in the 'cute' maid than bringing home any high school boys.

How romantic, Thornton chooses to think about his upcoming nuptuals as he uses the bathroom.

Cleo returns home that day with a huge announcement, she is now the vice-president!

"Was there ever any doubt? I am just that good."

Homework time comes for all the children. Thornton sits down to help Kelita, determined to get her to like him instead of thinking of him just as the creepy guy who's shacking up with her mother.

With Cleo's promotion that day, she and Thornton had brought home enough money to renovate the house. The downstairs is remodeled to remove the bedrooms. A storage room was also added behind the stairs to put old baby things.

Bedrooms were added upstairs with their own seperate stairway, as well as a bathroom for the kids to share.

Another half-way normal family dinner.

Rose had taken to staying up late to hack. She was making more money than she did in her part-tiime job and promptly quit the supermarket.

Kelita, on the other hand, had taken to visiting with boys.

At least she had good taste, choosing Malcolm Landgrabb as her first conquest. Kelita may take after her mother a bit.

Thornton and Cleo took some time to relax and talk about money. Funny how that subject was brought up, since with their combined promotions and bonuses...

They had enough extra money to install a pool in their backyard.

Time went on as time does and the triplets neared another birthday. They finally grew up into teenagers.

Eve was the first. She grew up to be a bit chubby with a mixture of her parents facial features.

Trey was second. Her lips, eyes and facial structure were exactly like her fathers. If it wasn't for her hair color and her thin eyebrows, she'd be an exact female version of Thornton.

Pandora was last. Her facial structure leans more towards Cleo's and she also inherited her mothers big blue eyes.

With that, the race for the heiress spot was on.
