A yell of pain can be heard, and then silence, aside from his heavy steps as he descends the stairs of the home and swiftly armors himself in his Astartes plate without a word to anyone

I was thinking more that we missed each other, I certainly didn't think that.

My son was droned some time ago... beyond that everyone is faring well.

Have you seen the Major General?

No I haven't, she's been layin' kinda low. Don't blame her on that one.

I suppose not, all things considered. Still, it's hard to lead a resistance if you're not at all visible.

You'd be surprised. More people respond to the cloak and dagger stuff versus a soap box. I guess it makes 'em seem more legit.

Or I could be completely misreading this but I like the idea.

It does not inspire any particular ardor from me, I would say. But we Astartes are very particular about how and why we fight. Or at least that is the ideal.

Garvi...you're a soldier. You're allowed to fight out in the open...here, we ain't so fortunate. Still, as long as she's effective in what she wants to accomplish I can't really criticize something like that.

I suppose. I just think we need to start going into an active mode once more, at the moment it feels like things are lying fallow and we're acting in a basically defensive manner. We should do something to seize the initiative.

[weiss_tank]

I ain't gonna disagree with you on that one. I hate all this waiting around. I understand it might be necessary but I dunno.

[Ken has always been the action guy of his group.]

Perhaps we can find something -to- do Ken.

We need to make a list of the most dangerous members of the town, who they are, what are their motivations. And then we need to neutralize them. Not kill. That doesn't work. But seal their powers or watch them, so if they do try to murder.... we can stop them.

Well, I've been around long enough to know a few of 'em... I don't see what the harm would be in compiling a list.
