[ Souji is in his boyscout uniform, leading a group of elementary kids back to the playground. They all have bug nets and Souji is carrying a big glass jar filled with all sorts of bugs, grass, twigs and leaves.

He sees Garv, and when the drone children scream when he stumbles and stops, Souji sets the jar down and runs to him. ]

What happened?

[He rises, and his gaze tracks to Souji, almost like he's targeting him.]

A problem. Kindly get the children as far away from here as possible.

... Right.

[ Souji knows better than to question Garv on why and how come he looks like that. He turns to the kids, clapping his hands with a big, animated smile. ]

Alright, everyone, we're going on an extra field trip! We're going to the park to catch more bugs! Let's hurry, because after we catch bugs we're going to get some ice cream!

[Garviel smiles a bit behind his helm. Glad that people are understanding that when he says something is going bad he means it. He says, almost as if to himself, as Souji is gathering the drones.]

I yet live. [He rumbles, trying to rise once, and then coming to a shuddering halt halfway.]

[The second those words leave Garviel's mouth, there's a slight rumbling as a robot that stands over the houses in Mayfield appears out of thin air and latches it's arms onto the mixer.]

[He frowns. Is this an ally? Another being? He's not sure. He hasn't seen it before. his first instinct is to attack.... but without krak grenades, without his chainsword, it would be fruitless. He watches. If nothing else, he can learn from this. The contest will continue. He -will- endure.]
