I must confess, I suspect I will find the whole thing tiresome as well. I have to watch out for a number of people. I take it you are receiving a lost of customers because of it though, are you not?

I am quite aware, I know for a fact this park has been badly damaged several times since I have been here.

It is always repaired in the end, though.

I am afraid not. I'm actually removing the insignia of my old Legion, which had turned traitor. Particularly the iconography of my former Warmaster, Horus Lupercal.

[he goes back to stripping paint from the breastplate for a moment and says.]

How have you been, Miss Hoshino? Do you intend to go to the prom?

"No one has asked me to go, so I'll probably just work."

[She peers at the work]

"May I make a suggestion with the iconography?"

Certainly. [he makes a wry face] Just no more hawaiian shirt color suggestions, apparently that was seen as rather embarassing.

[There is no reproof in his voice, but perhaps a tinge of amusement.]

[She's been quietly sitting under a tree, pretty much unnoticed, just watching the world wander by. Times like this, she's thinking about home and glory and country, wishing she could just beat a bloody path to the door out of this place.

Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Garviel approach and begin to go through his exercises.

Silently, she simply observes. It's a bit like being at home, if she squints.]

[He notes her presence, but continues on, slash moving to thrust, to parry, to a side-kick intended to stun before a sweeping two-handed blow that is clearly designed to sever heads. The movements are slightly off for a Spatha, as if he's used to wielding some other, slightly heavier blade. He continues for a good 10 minutes before looking to her, and bowing politely]

[She tosses aside a blade of grass she was maliciously maiming and stands, pulling her gloves on.]

Not bad. I didn't get to see everyone in action before, but I'll admit to being impressed.

[Perhaps conspicuously, one hand rests easily on the hilt of her sword.]

Would you care to practice? It has been some time since I've had a partner to train with outside of Lancer, and he is not a swordsman.

I am cleansing my armor of any iconography of Horus Lupercal's influence. I will not bear the mark of the Arch-traitor upon my breastplate any further.

It's only paint. I'm not removing the ceramite or Adamantine underneath it.

However... it has lost some of the purity of form.
