Precisely so. Anyone stupid enough to draw a blade with both you and I around will regret it only very briefly.

[ Garviel no man don't do this. ] Don't know if any o' 'em 'r still loyal to Grady, though.

I think that unlikely. Anyone working for grady that I have met thus far was merely doing so for the convenience of having their powers returned to him. With those gone, he has no hold on them.

Mmm.

Are guests expected to bring anything with them? Such as more drink or food?

That would be helpful. I am footing most of the bill for this myself.

I see.

Which would be preferred? Beverages? Any specific type? I would assume there would be many who would appreciate alcohol, although I myself am not particularly fond of it.

Wine would be excellent, as I understand it.

I missed a battle?

Indeed. It happened at the end of the last month. We fought a Titan. It was... very strange. I can tell you the story sometime, if you like.

I'd love to hear it sometime. [Not really.] It's a shame the Emperor did not see fit to place myself and my regiment here to assist either way. [A TERRIBLE SHAME.]

A regiment of the imperial army would have been most helpful, to be sure. Or a full squad of Astartes. But needs must, we made do with what we had.
