Well he wasn't human, so he had a different feel. That hulking metal shell made him unrecognizable on sight, but it did nothing to hide his presence as a living being. Don't mind her carrying a wooden paper bag of baguettes, just running grocery errands, but pausing at him trudging his way down towards the town.

[he looks to her, and instantly removes his helmet. Unlike other cases, where he removes his helm only after talking for some time, or to speak to someone who doesn't know him inside his armor, there is a sense he is doffing his cap to her.]
"Ciel. You seem to have adjusted well to things." [he says, a slight smile on his craggy face as he looks to the baguettes.]
[She returns it with a small and vaguely wry smile, but she does also completely turn around to properly address him, now that he's stopped.]
Good afternoon to you too, mister Loken. Hmm... It has been busy, but time still goes on even in a place like this. I do still have a 'family' to look after, so it wouldn't do to dawdle. [She looks and sounds perfectly fine, though, but that shouldn't be surprising at all.]
