"I could ask Mamzels Nei, Ciel, or perhaps..."

[he shakes his head.]

"No, she fears me now."

[he is silent for a bit.]

[lunawolves10th]

"Sometimes it is very hard for humans to understand one another, across time and space. I want nothing more than to be someone's friend, and yet..."

[he sighs.]

"A misunderstanding... or fear, or something I can not even explain caused her to push me away in fear."

[he looks up at Tohsaka.]

"I appreciate our partnership even more at times like this. That we were able to reach past our own worlds, and recognize the honor and worth of one another."

[lunawolves10th]

[he will move to her tree, and offer her a hand]

"Come down."

[he looks into her eyes for a moment.]

"I do not like to see you with so sad a face. What happened?"

[lunawolves10th]

[he pauses. If he was Tarik Torgaddon, he would have a sarcastic answer for that. And for a moment, he misses his dear friend, then looks back to Rin. A person who has become dear to him, despite both their protestations.]

"Of course I have. I consider you quite intelligent, actually."

[the same sincere expression as always, gentle eyes in a stern face.]
