So, I was angry as hell that I couldn't see this film opening night (went away for family reunion), but I did get to see it opening weekend, so at least that's something right?

Spoilers for...the whole freakin' thing. )

I want to see it, but I'll prolly wait for second/sub run, or maybe even DVD. Lol

Definitely see it on the big screen if you can. It was made to be seen that way. Plus, it should be played really loudly, which can only be done so well in a house.

Haha. Okay. I'll try and gather some people, in order to go see it at the Palace.

Man, in this case, I'm glad I'm an American. I can't imagine still waiting to see it. Just waiting an extra two days was near torture, and I was terrified my other Abrams friends would spoiler me for it. But, OMG YOU WILL LOVE IT. It's gorgeous and moving and just so Abrams that it's impossible to dislike it. My brother wasn't as impressed with it as me, but he has Abrams issues anyway and is too ignorant to understand his brilliance.

I FINALLY SAW IT. AND I LOVED IT.

And I love your review too, btw. I'm still too much of JJ newbie to have copped to 47 (where was it?) or see Greg (dammit!), but I was getting the Lost and Fringe vibes ALL over the shop. This WAS mini-Peter and Olivia! :D And my friend (who thought it was a horror movie and only came with me under duress) loved it, and kept referring to E.T. and The Goonies quite loudly and I wanted to smack her to shut up and just IMMERSE.

Oh, and my mother went to see it before me and SHE loved it. I had to practically ignore her for three days so I wouldn't get spoiled.

And. Lens flares. ;D

Yay! You can finally join in on my fangirling! *jumps up and down*

As to your questions: 47 is the number of the warehouse that the zombies are in during the short film they made which is shown during the credits of the movie. I missed Greg too when I was watching it, but he was apparently an actor in a tv show that was playing on the telly in the background of one of the scenes. Amanda Foreman (who played Carrie on ALIAS and Felicity's roommate in Felicity) also did her customary appearance, this time as a news reporter on the telly.

The DVD and Blu-Ray still have no release date set yet, and I'm going crazy cos I want it in my hands like NOW!!!
